This research study is to discuss and analyze how a teacher provides and makes PAI learning methods for mentally retarded children. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. The type of data used in this study is secondary data collected through the literature study method. The analysis used in this research is qualitative analysis.
The patience of a teacher is needed considering that in inclusive schools there are children who have mental delays and require special treatment. patience will be able to make the teacher as a person who is full of love, care, which in the end can help him achieve educational goals. Therefore, what is needed is that the teacher can have the patience to train and cultivate the potential in him so that the concept of patience can be poured into learning for mentally retarded children. This study aims to explain the importance of PAIBP's patient attitude in teaching children with special needs (ABK) with mental retardation.
Therefore, teachers of mentally retarded students must be patient, compassionate, teach with simple words and real pictures. Patience itself is the ability to control oneself which is centered in the heart in the form of patience as an important element for teachers in the implementation of education for mentally retarded children so that patience will make the teacher a loving, caring person, which in the end can help him achieve educational goals.
The results of this study are to see how PAI teachers have an important role in improving children's abilities with a religious approach. So that children with mental retardation are ready to face the next life.
