IMPLEMENTASI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN MELALUI PROGRAM PLUS DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA

Abstract

This research is motivated by some of moral violations that occurred in the students generally, such as drugs, brawl, pornography and others. Seeing this clearly shows the importance of building the character of students. One of the school that is very concerned about the building of students character is SMP Adabiah Padang. However the research problems are "How the Implementation of Religious Activity Through the Plus Program in shaping the Character of  Students in Yunior High Scholl (SMP) Adabiah Padang?".

These studies use a type of field research with qualitative research methods through a descriptive approach.Through this study found: (1) The pattern of religious activity Plus Program in SMP Adabiah Padang namely: praying zuhur congregation, praying before/after learning, annisa forum, muhadaroh, speeches, Arabic, English, syarhil Qur`an, tahfiz, mujawwad, mastering read Al-Qur`an, khat, worship exercise and silat. (2) Implementation of the Plus Program in shaping the characters of students have been done well by the method of conditioning, modeling and monitoring. (3) The Plus Program evaluations are conducted practically every midle and semester. (4) Supporting factors include: Support from the foundation, facilities and infrastructure, teacher qualifications, the school environment and the learning methods. However the inhibiting factors are: lack of parental attentions against students worship at home and the density of learning activities that make students feel fatigue.
