KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU PAI DALAM MELAKSANAKAN PROGRAM EKSTRAKURIKULER BACA TULIS QURAN

Abstract

This research was motivated by activities carried out outside of class hours to improve reading and writing of the Koran and memorizing. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the professional competence of teachers in implementing the BTA extracurricular program to improve students' reading, writing and memorizing skills. Researchers use research methods according to  the type and approach. This type of research is a case study with qualitative  methods. The data source is BTA teachers, the data collection techniques are through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study: The professional competence of PAI teachers is to develop learning plans and strategies in the implementation of memorizing the Qur'an because life without having direction and purpose will be like a blind person who is walking, therefore to have a goal in memorizing the Qur'an
