PENERAPAN METODE ROLE PLAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI IBADAH HAJI DAN UMRAH

his penelitian aims to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in class IX D students of SMP Negeri 15 Balikpapan on Hajj and Umrah material. This study used the Class Action research method which was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The subjects in this action were all students of class IX D SMPN 15 Balikpapan as many as 3 1 students consisting of 14 female students and 17 male students. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes on Hajj and Umrah material. Student scores before action averaged 72.42 with a percentage of only 32.26% Increased in cycle 1 actions to 81 grade point average with a completion percentage of 66.6% of all students present. In the next cycle, namely cycle 2, the average class becomes 8, 7.87 With the completion classically reaching 93.5%. From the data above, it can be concluded that learning using the role play method in congregational prayer materials for fiqh subjects can improve student learning outcomes. Because learning using this method students can practice directly and real.
Based on the results of this research, it is hoped that it will become information and input for Islamic Religious Education teaching staff to further improve the quality of learning by using active, innovative, creative and fun methods.
