Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this paper is how is the process of applying contextual learning assisted by smart cards in learning and what are the results and impacts of this application in learning prostration material for grade 8 at SMP Negeri 5 Ambarawa. The aim is to describe the learning process of implementing smart card-assisted contextual learning in learning and how the results in learning prostration material for grade 8 at SMP Negeri 5 Ambarawa.

From the aspect of knowledge there was a significant increase in learning completeness from cycle 1 (70.97%), cycle 2 (87.10%), there was an increase of 16.13%. From the aspect of skills experienced an increase in cycle 1 (77.42%), cycle 2 (87.10%), the increase was 9.65%. There is an increase in religious values and an increase in soft skills and religious aspects, an increase in the number of congregational prayers performed by students. In cycle 1, students who performed the midday prayer in congregation were 38.7%, while the percentage of students who prayed midday prayer in cycle 2 was 48.4%.
