PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SALAT BERJAMAAH PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 8 PALANGKA RAYA

Abstract

This study aims to improve the congregational prayer skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya. This research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya class VII/5 and VII/7 consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students as respondents. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely observation, tests, and documentation. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Based on all the discussions and analyzes that have been carried out, it is concluded that the demonstration method can improve students' skills in practicing
prayer which is marked by an increase in mastery in the skills of demonstrating congregational prayers in each cycle.
