Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of distance learning PAI subjects in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. This research uses quantitative research based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations and samples. The sampling technique is done randomly, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis with the aim of testing the established hypothesis. The results showed that based on y = a+x as a result of research on the effectiveness of distance learning carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Kemangkon did not run effectively, so there was no good learning process in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Kemangkon.
