The purpose of this study is to find out the concepts and methods of the independent learning curriculum and the implementation of the values of the Independent Learning which are internalized into the learning process of Islamic Religious Education. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with library research. The technique of collecting data is the library method using the documentation method. While the analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The procedure carried out is selecting, comparing, combining, sorting various meanings until relevant data are found. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education is also responsible for delivering students to become independent human beings, independent with their skills, independent in their mindset, and independent for any actions they choose. The embodiment of these values must be internalized in everyday life by means of freedom in choosing the time and place of learning, freedom of choice is offered, learning can be personalized, this independent learning program has a project-based learning system, is a principle as a point of reference. link and match, and is an interpretation of the data
