Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how professional supervisors implement character education in carrying out their duties. This study is based on the results of literature and field studies, as well as the analysis technique with critical analysis. The results of the study indicate that school supervisors are professional education personnel who have the duties and responsibilities as well as full authority to conduct guidance and supervision of education in schools, both in the academic and managerial fields. In carrying out his supervisory duties, a school supervisor must be able to be an example for all school members, in attitude and action. To realize this, a supervisor can implement all his attitudes and actions through the actualization of the crystallization of the values of cultural education and national character.
