This research focuses on the implications of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the pandemic era for Islamic Religious Education in schools. this study aims to describe and examine the implications of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the pandemic era for Islamic Religious Education
in schools. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data were obtained from educators/teachers of PAI school principals, parents and students at SMPN 5 Manado. Collecting data with, observation, interviews and documentation from various sources. Data were analyzed using the interactive qualitative analysis
technique of the Miles & Huberman model, including: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that education in the era industrial revolution 4.0 and education in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic have had an impact and implications for learning Islamic Religious Education in schools. PAI learning which contains practical material such as the subject matter of religious Fiqh, and Moral learning material which requires exemplary teacher examples requires direct meetings to ensure the effectiveness of learning. However, learning PAI in some PAI materials is generally helped by the existence of online media
