PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHAFAL JUZ AMMA’ DENGAN STRATEGI PENGULANGAN DI SMP BASTREN DARUSSALAM MANOKWARI

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (PTK) aimed to improve the motivation and the ability of memorizing the Juz'Amma in surah al-Infiţār material and an-Naba ', by the result: (1) determine the students‟ motivation pra-action in learning repetition strategy(2)determine students' memorizing ability to pra-action in learning repetition strategy determine the implementation of repetition strategy to improve the students' motivation and memorizing ability (4) determine the students' motivation after implementation the learning repetition strategy (5) determine students' ability after implementation the learning repetition strategy (6) determine the increasing of students‟ motivation and the ability in memorizing.

The results of research found: (1) step before the action, the number of students were motivated by 9 people (32.14%), (2) step before the action, the number of students completed measured 8 persons (28.6%), (3) Implementation of learning that were consist of two cycles which repetition strategy on Surahs‟ material contained in the Juz'Amma've had done well with the motivation and ability to memorize of surah increased and reached a minimum achievement criteria. (4) after doing the action in the first cycle the number of students were motivated by 20 people (71.43%), followed on the second cycle the number of students motivated as many as 28 people (100%), (5) after doing the action in the first cycle the number of students completed by 21 people (75%), followed on the second cycle the number of students completed became 28 people (100%), (6) the increasing of motivation can be seen from the number of students who were motivated difference between pra-action and after action of the first cycle became 11 people (39.28 %), then the difference between the number of students who are motivated by the second cycle I and cycle II amounting to 8 people (28.57%), so the total amount in increasing of motivation are 67.85%.
